Actor Sanjay Kapoor Inaugurates Live Devi Jhanki at Santacruz, Mumbai
Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor inaugurates a unique Navratri special attraction
‘LIVE Devi Darshan’ exhibited by Brahma Kumaris

Mumbai, October 14, 2010: On the divine occasion of Navratri, Brahma Kumaris organised a display of LIVE DEVIS that was inaugurated by Cine actor Sanjay Kapoor, Shri Amitabh Gupta, Additional Commissioner of Police, Karan Singh, RJ Fever 104 FM along with Brahma Kumari Meera, Director, Santacruz Branch of Brahma Kumaris.
This was a unique display of LIVE Devis like Durga, Laxmi, Saraswati, Santoshi, Gaytri and Brahma Kumari. Unlike the instill Devis these were REAL DEVIS who posed like different goddesses without any movement. The idea behind the LIVE display was to understand the significance of true Navratri and Shiv Shaktis (Nine Devis).
It was an amazing scene that the REAL shaktis sat continuously for 4 hours without any movement. This is possible only with the help of Supreme Power that is practiced through Rajyoga meditation.
Speaking at the inauguration, Cine actor Sanjay Kapoor said, “I am really happy to inaugurate this worthy demonstration of Nav Devi Darshan. It was unimaginative that these would be real features seated as IDOLS. I appreciate Brahma Kumaris and wish they should continue to explain such true meaning of Navratri and Shiv Shaktis”.
Cooking in Remembrance
As much as possible, continue to remember ShivBaba. It’s in your intellect that we have to prepare food for ShivBaba; keep ShivBaba in your intellect when preparing food: I am doing this for ShivBaba. So, food should be prepared with great cleanliness; without creating any complications. Do not do anything which will make your stage fluctuate. Brahma Baba himself also stays in remembrance. While Reading This in Murli Sister Chakradhari shared a personal experience: I remember Baba once said with lots of love that some children do not stay in remembrance whiles preparing food for Baba, so Baba would prepare his own food. Baba said: the only thing I know how to make is potatoes. I know how to make very good potatoes. If I were to cook potatoes, you would lick your fingers. Baba was saying that to draw our attention that while preparing food we should have complete remembrance of Baba. It’s this that has an impact on others.

The Dhashahara Festival is celebrated with Great Zeal & Enthusiasm in Kathmandu.

On the auspicious occasion of Bijaya Dashmi (Dashahara) Festival, Brahma Kumaris Kathmandu organized a Good Wishes & Talk Programme including Live Jhanki of Goddess Durga which was jointly inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister for Education Mr. Sarvendranath Shukla, Hon'ble Minister for Health and Population Mr. Umakant Chaudhari & Raj Didi by lightening the traditional lamp.
In his speech Minister for Education Mr. Shukla opined unless and until the humankind could conquer over their mental weakness and negativities, social, political and economic complications and numerous other challenges will prevail. He was of the view that motivation to goodness and inner empowerment could help deal with the challenges which could come through spiritual understanding, practice of Rajyoga Meditation and yoga. On his turn, Minister for Health and Population Mr. Chaudhari said Brahma Kumaris Organization is spreading the message of peace, nonviolence, cooperation and brotherhood in the society which has become a significant tool for positive transformation from individual to global level.
The function was chaired by BK Raj Didi, Director of Brahma Kumaris Nepal. In the function Ex-ministers, Doctors, Secretaries and high officials, social workers, Businessmen, media persons, thousands of BKs and others who came to get the blessings of the occasion were offered Tika, holy Jamara and Toli. The Vijaya Dashmi Tika and Blesings will follow four more days.
