BKs Meeting PM Modi in California
Indian PM Modi visited California for the first time. It was also the first visit by Indian head-of-state to this part of the world in 33 years. BKs from Local Centre there, got chance for personal meeting with the PM. The Indian Ambassador in Washington DC hosted a reception for community leaders at the prestigious Fairmont Hotel in San Jose.
One sister and four brothers got the invitation to this high security event - Sr Lavanya Reddy (Seattle), Prof Sudarshan Kapoor (Fresno), Bro Atma Dayal (Milpitas), Bro Sanjay Kadaveru (Washington DC) and Bro Janardhan (San Francisco). Sister Lavanya went separately and tied a rakhi to Hon'ble PM. They greeted Modiji with 'Om Shanti' and he instantly recognized. He met with each one with much love.
